Interested in joining Faithful Roots Academy?

Faithful Roots Academy is a local homeschool co-op as well as a homeschooling mentorship program. We currently serve the Central Oregon Community of Christian mothers anywhere on the spectrum of their homeschool journey; from looking to begin, but feeling the need for support, guidance, and mentorship, all the way to experienced homeschooling mothers looking for a Christ-centered community.

You

YOU...

  1. Desire a Christ-centered community of women to walk alongside as you navigate your homeschool journey.

  2. Want your child to learn and grow in a hands-on, encouraging, and Christ-centered environment that includes hands-on, high engagement, and differentiated learning.

  3. Want to be able to choose your own curriculum and not have to buy a specific one in order to be a part of a co-op.

  4. Want to be able to simply show up and have all supplies/materials provided, including all field trips planned.

  5. Want to be able to have a set time to connect with other homeschool moms.

  6. Need to be able to bring your younger children to join you, so you don’t have to find childcare.

  7. Appreciate having an experienced licensed professional teacher to mentor you, to ask questions, and to guide your child through their education.

Me

My priorities are my relationship with Christ, my husband, my children, my family/friends, and my community. My husband, Brandon is also a teacher at a local high school. Our children are 4 and 7 and are the most fun! We are a Bible-believing and God-loving young family who centers our life on Christ. We love to adventure, have fun, laugh, garden, be outside, explore, and learn.

When I began homeschooling our son, I couldn’t find a Christian homeschool curriculum that fit my son’s needs for flexibility, adaptability, hands-on learning, and deep dives into topics he wanted to know more about. So I made one! I have successfully used this curriculum for two years now while I teach a group of children in my home every week.

Lastly, my God-given desire is to walk alongside a group of fellow Jesus-loving mothers who feel called to homeschool, but maybe would benefit from a set of professional teaching eyes to help them and support them through the journey. I want to help you get started and/or develop a skill set that allows you to successfully continue for years and years, and truly find contentment and joy in educating your children. I want you to homeschool with confidence!

Co-op Meeting Structure

We meet on Wednesdays 9:30am-12:30pm at my home in NE Bend. Our first day is September 10, 2025 and our last day is June 10, 2026.

9:30: Arrive. Students select a welcoming activity to help them get settled into the day and visit with peers.

10am-11:45pm I teach a thematic unit lesson that consists of circle time(calendar/weather/Pledge of Allegiance/memory verse), a read-aloud, 2-3 learning activities, and we end with group prayer. All lessons are designed with differentiated instruction and scaffolding to ensure all students, regardless of age and skill level, can engage in meaningful and valuable learning that challenges and supports them. Each week we rotate which mom is co-op helper of the day, but otherwise, this time is meant for you to observe your child and me to gain teaching insights and insights on your child’s learning, as well as connect with the other moms.

11:45-12:30 Following the lesson, children are welcome to eat lunch and play together until 12:30pm while moms fellowship.

Pricing

1.What are funds used for?

Your registration fee and monthly tuition payment allow for an all-inclusive school experience. It covers all materials used for your child(ren) for each academic lesson, the majority of these materials are take-home and consumables. It also covers all field trip costs. Lastly, it covers paying for my time completing all co-op administrative tasks, planning, curriculum, and lesson preparation, as well as my time teaching. Funds allow me to continue providing engaging, interactive, differentiated, and worthwhile lessons for each child.

2. When are payments due?

Registration Fee: After filling out an application and being accepted into Faithful Roots Academy, a $75 Registration Fee is due to hold your child’s spot for the school year. As soon as you pay it, your spot is secured. This is a non-refundable fee unless I can fill your spot if you choose to relinquish it.

Tuition: Due the FIRST of the month via check, cash, or Venmo. Listed prices are for the full month, per child (10% discount for each additional sibling). If you are enrolling a second child, they are automatically enrolled at the Seedling Tier price. Choosing the Sapling or Oak Tier covers your entire household in regards to all the tier benefits.

3.How many payments do I make?

Tuition payments are due on the 1st of the month starting September 1st, and the last payment is due on June 1st. Monthly tuition remains the same each month, regardless of holidays or a number of weeks/classes that month. Faithful Roots Academy doesn't meet for classes a total of 4 weeks/year (mirroring the Redmond School District's public school closures: 1 week over Thanksgiving, 2 weeks for winter break, and 1 week for spring break). School meetings run a total of 36 weeks, which is equal to 2 school sessions per curriculum unit (18 units total). While the number of school meeting days in any given month may vary, you will always be getting two school lessons per curriculum unit, so monthly payments are simply averaged out to cover all 36 meetings.

4.What is the Cancellation Policy?

There are no refunds for absences. All materials, plans, and administrative work are completed in preparation for your child’s attendance, and you will be provided with all materials upon return, or you may choose to pick them up to have and complete that week. If the educator cancels school for unforeseen reasons and there is no meeting for the week, you will still be provided with all materials to pick up that week or receive at the following week’s co-op meeting.
